I want to live my life with an awareness of God’s presence and a total trust in God’s unlimited capabilities 24/7 — and who knows what might happen when the supernatural is activated.
The choir director was absent. My father who was the pastor said I should direct the choir.
I had never directed anything musically in my life.
But when it was time to sing, I stepped out on the platform and raised my hands for the choir to stand.
At that moment, it felt like electricity had shot through my body from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet.
I instantly became an inspirational choir director — the song — “ We Shall Shine As The Stars of the Morning.”
I then became a church choir director for many years and after that I became an arranger and composer.
When you say YES to God, be prepared for the unexpected to happen beyond your greatest expectations.
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think.
It is God’s instant impartation of knowledge and gifts that make it happen — when an apparent impossibility happens — !
I know — it happened to me!

More on the Miracle Director
I had never directed a choir or directed anything in my life. I was able to pass music conducting for pastors by successfully conducting a hymn for chapel in 4/4 time.
After graduation, we moved to Glassboro, NJ. My father, Rev. W. Earl Watts, was the pastor of Oliver Wesleyan Church in Glassboro. Nancy and I sang in the church.
One special Sunday, Rev J. R. Mitchell was the guest speaker. The church was full.
We waited in the choir room, but the director didn’t show up.
My dad said, “Wellington — you direct the choir!”
At first I protested, but he insisted. I finally said, “OK”
When it came time for the choir to sing, I walked out in front and raised my hands for the choir to stand.
As they stood to their feet, it felt like electricity shot through my body from head to toe.
In time, I became the adult choir director doing mostly Peterson cantatas and creating my own hymn arrangements.
Music began to come to me, and I became a composer. Some of my songs are on the blog with YouTube videos.
There were soon large churches that wanted to pay me to be their Minister of Music.
My college alma mater wanted me to be the college choir director.
I believe none of this would have happened if I had not said “OK” that special Sunday morning.
I know that’s how I became the Miracle Choir Director.
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
